Which build would you prefer? (Intel VS AMD)

INTEL BUILD

Processor : Core i5 12600K

Mobo : MSI PRO Z690-A DDR4 12th gen

CPU cooler : Deepcool Ak620

Ram : Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB DDR4 3200Mhz 16*2 Total 32GB

SSD : Samsung 970 EVO NVMe M.2 250GB SSD

AMD BUILD

Processor : Ryzen 7 5800X

Mobo : Asus TUF B550M-PLUS GAMING AMD AM4 Micro-ATX Motherboard

CPU cooler : Deepcool Ak620

Ram : Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB DDR4 3200Mhz 16*2 Total 32GB

SSD : Samsung 970 EVO NVMe M.2 250GB SSD

If I get AMD build I can save up to 100USD for the motherboard.
This PC will be used for Gaming & 3D workload.
Personally I prefer the Intel build, Getting 6 P core and 4 E core. total of 10 cores.
AMD R7 5800X has 8 core.
So is it worth getting Intel build even though it'll cost 100$ more?

Note : I'm buying this from our local shop, and price here is not stable at all. For example right now 12600K is around 350USD.

That means the 5800x3d becomes an option which makes it a no brainer for the same price as the intel build.

However the amd board is kinda meh. Will do the job tho. But a msi mortar b550 should be even cheaper.

Just a thing do you have another ssd? 250gb is very very low for a pc let alone a 3d workstation build.

Yes, because you will need to buy a GPU for the AMD build. 5800X does not have an integrated GPU.

Honestly I would grab a 5800X3D system with the budget you have is that is at all an option for you.

yes i'm liking MSI MAG B550M Mortar (not sure if it's available though)
And maybe you're right, I can get 5800X3D if I go with AMD build.
and get a decent MOBO for that too. But 5800X is 200USD more expensive than 5800x or 12600K in here.
So that's the issue.
Oh and yes I've another sata SSD along with 4TB hard drives, So it'll be fine.

I already have a GPU, that's why I didn't mention PSU/GPU or any other stuff.

prices ARE down for 3000 series (and AMD 6000)

They will go down more, but by the time they’re at rock bottom they will be nearly obsolete. The prices are very, very good right now/

Yeah I know, But not here, Also Amazon is not available, that's why they got the chance.
A rtx 3060, not even Ti version costs about 600$ here.
So i'll just wait for the prices to go down, meanwhile I'll keep using my old rx 590 8gb until prices drops down.
