Performance issue

ggagagagagaagaga

I do not know much about computers but here is my problem.
When I first got my pc I ran this game called UBOAT and it ran perfectly smooth (Constant 60 fps) on ultra settings. Now flash forward a year later I can't run it as well. The FPS is on average of 40-50 on high and after 5 min the fps drops to ~15 then goes back up to 40-50. Is this a cooling issue? Memory? I have no clue but that's why I am here. Any answers would be well appreciated. This issue isn't just with UBOAT by the way. It is just an example.

Appears your running on a laptop. Remove the bottom cover and try blowing out any dust built up.
