Looks like a rebadge of the 880. Same cup and headband design and same price.
Wouldn't be surprised if it sounds worse just because they tuned it for "gaming audio".

I have both and the Tygr doesn't even sounds like a altered 880. Yes, they look like about the same in design but in sound, no.

The Tygr is like a Amiron Home on steriods. But the sound is definitely not worse or bad.

Yep, I can totally relate to the very annoying "t" and "s". Unbearable. The reloading sounds of the weapons in GTAV and painful "t" in voices...

What is your budget?

If you're after something with a 'smoother' sound probs check out the HD600.

Right now I am testing the DT880, and it is better in the way of T and S sounds, the highs,

The DT880 has less bass than the DT990 but overall I like the sound more. might be because of the missing ear hurting highs

I think I will stay with the DT880.

but the question still is, is the HD 600 worth the extra  round about 150 EUR

Gigabyte X570 Aorus Elite,  Ryzen 9 3900x, Dark Rock Pro 4, 16 GB Crucial Ballistix  RGB 3600 MHz CL16 RAM, RTX 3080 TI FE Watercooled, 6 Case Fans,  Fractal Design Meshify S2

You are awesome, stay safe and healthy.

Give the DT880 a week and you'll likely like it even more. The treble in the DT880 is still very clear but the highs are much better and bearable.

You use it with your onboard audio?

Regading the HD600, I've never tried it so I can't say anything about it.

to be honest yes, I have a Av-Recveiver I could it just plug into, but I can't really hear a difference.might be because of my sound source spotify.

DT880 250 Ohm

funny thing, i believe with the DT990 and DT880 it took about 2h listening to music until they sounded good.

That could explain the highs are tamed a bit. When using the DT880 and 990 with analythical dac/amps, the highs are earpiercing.

Nice, then they will sound even better 😛

funny thing, just let my roommate and his "visitor" listen to both of the headsets, and booth agreed to like the dt880 more.

It's probably the best of the DT series 😛

I used to own DT990 and agreed the treble on the S/T was too much. I swapped to HD6XX which is similar to HD600 and it has great neutral sound but only lacking in sub-bass. I haven't tried DT880 but if you enjoy the sound with no treble issues then you should keep it.
