Also, just about any local-to-you mom/pop pc store should be able to upgrade your BIOS for very little moneys.

You had an partspicker list before. The motherboard MIGHT have the correct bios version. Just contact the retailer, or check their actual website for details.

What's your budget? Most b550s do support ryzen 5000 out of the box, but if you're concerned, get a board with bios flash like the b450 tomahawk max II, just to name one
