Got a h440 finally

I pre ordered one of these babies a long time ago. too bad after a bad banking error I never got it (women having access to your account = a bad idea) but I got it and I must say It's lovely. but one thing. WHY THE HELL DID THEY PUT WHITE LEDS ON THIS CASE. anyways some modding is in order, but it's great as of right now

Nice! I personally would prefer the black/white version but it's still a nice case in those colours. I would actually love to see it in green and black, like NVIDIA colours. I think it'd be awesome in those colours.

dont worry, I'm in school and am really broke. but once I get my second 280x I plan on getting 2 360mm rads and a 120 and do a dual loop 3x120 for the cpu (I have a hot 8350) and 3x120+1x120 for the gpus

yeah nvidia intel build in this case with green instead of red would be lovely, also the red was kinda because EVERYTHING else I have is black and red rog haha

I've had the h100i since it came out, no point in doing a upgrade if I'm not going at least one 360 for the cpu

I think painting a crosshair v and a 280x green is illegal haha, or it should be

The x60 is only a couple degrees better. the difference is very very very tiny. Not worth getting an x60 if you already have the h100i.

i know that he wanted the case and all but just placing a h100i just feels like a waste to me because theres already lots of cases that support it while the h440 is one of the nicest looking cases that supports it

He had the h100i. Spending over $100 on an x60 when you already have an AIO that is almost as good is a waste of money.

thank you, I personally don't mind it, I do plan on changing it but I want to wait till I get a 2nd 280x. but I need a 360 for my cpu that things hot.

Haha, well maybe not the AMD R9 280x, you might start an all out war . You do have a complete AMD build so the red/black theme works well. Just for me though, I would have an Intel/NVIDIA build so a green and black themed H440 would be awesome, although, one would probably have to have a blue\green\black themed case since having an Intel CPU .

This case is the coolest looking cases ive ever seen and i really debated this over the 750d but i ended up getting the 750. The reason was becuase i herd the temps of the case were bad so im curious... How are they?

no better or worse than the 750D. both have the same affliction, insufficient air-flow in the front.

I was using a thor v2 with both side panels off and was getting 70c cpu temps at 100% and my oc. closed everything up running all fans at full blast and 2 nh-p12's on the h100i and I'm actually a degree cooler. so basically it performs as well as it should although because of the airflow problem in the front (not that bad tbh) I turned the rear 140 around so I've got 3x120+1x140 intake and 3x120 exhaust out the top.

Ah, this was my first choice for a case when I was building my rig a week ago.... Darn TD didn't have any nor did I find one on Amazon

that "sound dampening foam" sits over a inch away from the fans it's not suffocating anything, without loading up this case with delta 2500 rpm fans on full blast you'd never see any constriction issues on the front or top. It still pulls the air right through no problem the slots for airflow are nice and open and I can say without a doubt that there is no airflow or temp gains from the case front and top on to it off. actually it gets worse cause the hot air comes back in the front.

My next build, If I ever finish my current , will be in this case. This thing looks sweet.
