New Kodak EyeGlass scratch inside the lens

Tech Reprise

Hi,

Just got delivery of my new Kodak CleanNCleAR UV+Blue prescription eyeglass for working long hours on my PC and the left lens has a scratch like mark from the factory in the center of the Lens under the AR Coating.

Any suggestions on what to do?

I am 100% certain that the scratch is not on the surface of the AR Coating, If it was caused by me it would have been visible on the surface. when held at an angle against the light. Rather the scratch looks like its inside the lens.

I have added an image, you can see the scratch near the Kodak Hydrophobic Watermark.

They're brand new and came out of the box with a defect?

If you can't live with it, reach out to the lab or your optometrist to have them replaced.

I sold my soul for ProSupport.

You weren't shopping for a defective set of lenses when you purchased these so you shoudn't have to "Live" with it - Take them back and have them make it right.

I would take it back for sure but wanted to confirm about the type of defect so that I can confront the outlet about it. Won't let my $100 go down the drain

Kodak is owned by signet who in turn is owned by essilor whose service I heard is good.

Also Never said that I am living with it.
