Would you happen to have it? Wondering if it has cool features like the S5's longer lasting battery mode of such

Well my HTC One looks a lot like an iPhone 4 and is smaller. I don't believe I have one, unless HTC is stealing ideas from Apple. Lawsuit anyone? :P

No htc m8 doesn't have multiwindow. I'd like to say it's a really useless feature without much practical use, but I can't really speak on how you would use the feature. I'd go with the s5 or m8, throw the flex outta the equation. I personally use the M8 and I really like it.

HTC One if you want premium build, amazing speakers, and have a better chance for case and accessory compatibility.

Oneplus One if you just want the raw specs and save yourself some cash.

I personally have the m8 and love it. I wouldn't trade it for any other phone. The G-flex is a gimmic. Sub-par screen and nothing else that stands out other than that you can slightly bend it. It also has a plastic screen, so that will be very easy to scratch.

The Oppo Find 7 is cool and all, but the screen is supposedly washed out and not that great quality even though it's a higher resolution.

Synology Wireless AC-2600

The Oppo find 7 has a perfectly fine screen the only part that is bad is the "whites" are slightly light light light blue tinted but honestly IMO the VOOC charging and the Larger battery is worth it. Also, the Oppo Find 7 has expandable mircoSD like the HTC one. They are fair rivals but the OPPO cost 500-600 and the htc one cost 600-700 or more in certain countries.

PS: 13MP(with 50MP software) images on the Oppo is better than 4MP... and the true Tone flash makes night photos still good and sharper than the HTC one.

Since im kind of a fan boy of OPPO for good reasons i always recommend the OPPO find 7 for the actually good gimmicks and the price to performance ratio.

The Samsung Super ban-aid 5 is shit just forget it...

man, the no multi-window is such a blow to the M8. Anyone know of anyway that I can get this feature on the HTC1?

As an owner of a multi-window Samsung phone, it was the biggest flop of a feature. Don't hold it against a phone.

Every phone has a mode like that, it's called off. Why own a smartphone if you turn off every smart feature and use a black and white screen that can only send and receive text messages and phone calls.

The screen on and cellular chip will still drain the battery.

The updates come a little faster, but it's not as big of a difference as it used to be, and I would argue that sense 6 is better in a lot of ways that stock android. A lot of review sites feel that way too.

If you want something a tad different or you just want to be a hipster, I suggest you take a look at Jolla at www.jolla.com It's quite unique since it's running a MER branch based OS called Sailfish that's very closely related to Meego which Nokia abandoned. It's also capable of running android apps. The phone costs 400€.

What you mean reviewers like the Google Play Edition over the Sense 6 version.. Plus stock Android is snappier and Play Edition includes most of the hardware specific features like the tap to turn on and dual camera support.

I have been using an LG G2 for the past few months and have loved it. I broke the screen a couple days ago and the HTC One M8 is on its way to my door! I think the HTC One M8 and the LG G2 are the two best contenders right now.

Stock android really isn't faster on this device. The S5 has issues where a play edition device might speed it up, and the s4 and original htc one were a little faster on stock android as well. However, the hardware is fast enough now, and sense 6 is light enough that you never notice any lag or stutters on the device. If you prefer stock android to sense 6, sure, go for the play edition. There's nothing wrong with it. Not by a long shot. On the other hand, sense isn't the slow, bloated performance killer it used to be and offers some good features and benefits of its own and should be considered in its own right.
