850W Power Supply For 40 Series?

1.) These cards aren’t out yet so we don’t know power requirements. 
 

2.) Based on current rumors you’ll likely be fine with anything but the 4090Ti. 
 

For reference, current leaked TGP for 4080 is 340W. Easy. People have been misinterpreting rumors of insane power requirements for months and it’s ridiculous. No, you aren’t going to need a 1000w PSU for a 4060….

Hi. 
 

I currently daily drive a rig I built not too long ago with a 850W power supply with a 3090 Ti. I'm curious if I'm going to need to upgrade my Power Supply If I plan to buy and run the 40 series. 

 

Will I need to upgrade to a 1200W Power Supply?
