Do you mean the refresh rate of your monitor changed? If so, that's expected if you have FreeSync enabled and the game is running at less than the monitor's maximum refresh rate. The monitor will change its refresh rate to match fps, to avoid tearing. Essentially the opposite of V-Sync where the game matches its fps to the monitor's refresh rate (if possible, performance wise)

you do realise that you frame rate in a game changes all the time it depends on the load on the gpu/cpu. it is perefectly normal.

I know the frame rate changes, just didn't think the Hertz actually changes, but I had the menu up on my LG & the # was changing.

Ok, I was like "is that normal?" This is the first monitor that displays Hz, so first time I have seen it, thanks.

It is normal for certain monitor, some LG monitor do this by displaying a different Hz when you gaming, for example my LG 34GN850 also like this. But this is not the case for my Samsung Odyssey Neo G9.
