1050ti

corsair vengeance

evga 700bq

 

I had a short on my motherboard (rog strix z490e gaming) and it started smoking, so i’m getting a new one soon. Just wondering if my other components will be damaged.

No way of knowing without trying them on another motherboard unfortunately.

I5-8600K - GTX 1080 - 16GB RAM - 1.5TB SSD

That tells nothing.

A picture of where on the board the short was might help.

A description of what shorted might help.

Which "other" components are you considering as "might be damaged"?
