It's the Asus Turbo model.

Probably loud af.

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

Is there any chance that GPU could be a fake

There's never a non-zero chance of something being fake.  The question is whether the seller would want to make the effort.

Judging from the completely covered front, I don't think they know enough about computers to try.

Doesn't look tampered with though, custom shroud fits fine.  Probably fine.

If you're that worried, ask the seller to take picture of the GPU back sticker that show the SKU.

Could this be another GPU that looks very similar such as a 1080?

The Asus Turbo 1080 only used one 8-pin.

Looks to be the 1080Ti model, not 1080.

Yes. The question was whether it could be a 1080 instead of a 1080 ti. I am saying that since the 1080 only used a single 8-pin, the answer to that question is no.
