Xbox controller not detected when plugged in to the monitor

IAmAndre
Hi guys,

I'm using a Xbox One Series controller on my PC. It works totally fine when I plug it to the PC, but it doesn't when I plug into the USB ports on my monitor. USB sticks are detected without any problem though. Actually even the controller is detected in Device Manager (under Xbox peripherals) and it rumbles when I plug it. However, the logo on the controller doesn't turn on and it's not detected by any game. Again, it works totally fine when I plug it to the motherboard. Anything I could try?

Thanks!

The fact USB sticks work clearly shows that the USB hub on the monitor is capable of sending both data and power.

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.
