Is 400W enough for this build?

ScarletRuby

Basically as the title says, I need to know if 400w is enough for this build because it's made up of pretty old parts aside from the GPU which is relatively modern. The power supply is 80+ bronze from Seasonic. The games played would basically just be stuff like Dead by Daylight, Overwatch, Valorant, and Genshin. Here are the specs.

Intel Core i5-3470

ASUS GTX 1060 3GB

Corsair 8gb (2x4) ddr3 ram at 1600mhz

MATX Motherboard

240gb sata ssd

320gb hdd

500gb hdd

Also, I do have a 450w PSU that I'm using for a build that's the exact same but just has a GTX 960 4GB. Which gpu would draw more power?

Both have 120W TDP, your CPU max 80W (don't think you can OC it much), let's consider the rest needs 100W, that's 300W max and both your PSU will be powerful enough 🙂

System : AMD R9 5900X / Gigabyte X570 AORUS PRO/ 2x16GB Corsair Vengeance 3600CL18 ASUS TUF Gaming AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX OC Edition GPU/ Phanteks P600S case /  Eisbaer 280mm AIO (with 2xArctic P14 fans) / 2TB Crucial T500  NVme + 2TB WD SN850 NVme + 4TB Toshiba X300 HDD drives/ Corsair RM850x PSU/  Alienware AW3420DW 34" 120Hz 3440x1440p monitor / Logitech G915TKL keyboard (wireless) / Logitech G PRO X Superlight mouse / Audeze Maxwell headphones

What 80+bronze 400w unit from seasonic? They have multiple some good some bad and the last actual 400w bronze is ancient and not good at all.

Are you referring to the 960 or the 1060?
