Do LHR cards work well for folding?

I’m finally about to buy a new card. Anyone have experience with a 3070 LHR version and folding?

i have a 3080LHR and it folds just like a non-LHR card. i believe the LHR limiter was specifically tuned to catch like 1 or 2 mining algorithms? could be wrong though.

I have a 3080 LHR and a 3060ti LHR and both of those fold just fine.  If you want to know how the 3070 LHR compares to other cards you should check out the PPD rankings from @LAR_Systems site at https://folding.lar.systems/gpu_ppd/overall_ranks.  It lists out averages based on recently completed work units for the various card types.  It looks like the 3070 LHR is ranked 16th over all for the cards that are out there now while the non-LHR variant is at 22nd.

I think you're right here. Could be wrong but pretty sure mining was unlimited except for Ethereum.

Have a 3080 LHR and seem to have the same performance as others in the Folding community.

Yes, they are just fine. No differences compared to Non-LHR.

$439.99US from EVGA B-Stock (Check next Wednesday) . For mixed use I'd probably get the FTW3 for the same price though.
