Whiteout PC

XenonX2

Budget (including currency): $1500 US

Country: United States

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Simulators, Shooters, Racing and sometimes streaming and recording

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): i would prefer to play at 1440p 144 hz, i already have a parts list (See Picture) and was wondering if anyone had something better. Thanks!

The Ryzen 5 4500 isn't a great pick in terms of new parts, you'd be better off with a used 3600 for much better performance at a similar price.

Alternatively, an Intel setup would have better CPU performance not to mention an upgrade path to 13th gen

Do you already have that specific GPU? Or something similar? White GPUs can be hard to come by.

The 970 Evo is rather expensive for a gaming focused PC

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Edited my above post for some more info.

If you can get one, a Gigabyte Vision graphics card is also something you should consider for white cards. I think they even made some for the RX 6700 and 6800 XT

this is just me, but I wouldn't go with an i3. but what do I know? it's probably great value.

I think you're thinking about powercolors hellhound lineup which does have white gpus

I don't really see a reason to upgrade it as it's still a pretty respectable card and a 2080s would be a pretty meager upgrade

The i3 outperfroms the 5500 easily so you can imagine how much better it is than a 4500

About what id reccommend

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/ghr26r

The 12400f is a good cpu for general usage and gaming and about what jd reccommend for this price point

Good cooler that's white

White board

1tb drive instead of a 500gb one. If you want more storage I'd get a hdd like a wd blue or black instead since seagates non Nas lineup is just okay

White case with airflow and same psu

It is this generation. And like I said, you've got a solid upgrade path.

I don't think you noticed but OP went for an all-white theme so I don't believe this list would do

Pretty sure AK620 covers the whole RAM sticks. Kinda no point spending on RGB if it's gonna be covered. Also aren't the Corsair sticks always taller than the rest? Will he have enough clearance?
