MacOS in Hyper-V

I am using Windows 10 Pro Hyper-V for several virtual machines, including Zorin, Ubuntu, Linux Mint and Manjaro. I am interested in setting up a MacOS Hyper-V machine. Does anyone have any good recomendations on how to obtain a Macos ISO?!

You download it from Mac App Store then convert a USB drive into a bootable macOS drive.

Then it became possible to create a bootable virtual disk, then copy the content from the macOS drive to it.

I don’t think it has been provided as ISO for a long time.

This is the least of your problems.

The main concern with installing MacOS on non Apple hardware is that Apple has a lot of checks in place to prevent installation on not first party boards. There are ways of getting around some them, but they're pretty difficult, and to my knowledge no one has been successful doing it in Hyper-V. You've either got to hope you have one of the machines that supports MacOS for a bare metal run, or switch to Linux so you can use Qemu where you can actually do those optimizations.
