I'm using one. I have zero basis for comparison beyond saying that it's supposedly 10% or so faster than an RX 6600 XT, but costs about as much as a decent midrange 6600 XT will (there are cheap ones out there, but they generally have weak or loud coolers). $100 less than a 6700 XT, which will only tack on 10% more performance, give or take. Also worth thinking about: the 6600 XT has mature drivers. The 6700 is more or less brand new, and it has plenty of optimization left to come. I think expecting it to get too much better is unrealistic because AMD would cannibalize either the 6600 XT or the 6700 XT, or both, by bringing it extremely close to the performance of the 6700 XT. Of course, if they only have so many defective Navi 22 dies in existence and know that there's a finite limit on these cards, maybe they don't care if they get it to the point where a good overclock can match a stock 6700 XT--or maybe they don't care about driver optimization in that case.

Taken for what it is--a cut-down RX 6700 XT at the price point of an RX 6600 XT and cheaper than most RX 6650 XTs, it's an incredible purchase. I'm about 99% happy with mine, and that lingering 1% is a mild concern that maybe I haven't bought something powerful enough to last as long as my 1070 did. But again, is it worth another $100 for the marginal improvement of a 6700 XT?

I enjoy buying junk and sinking more money than it's worth into it to make it less junk.
