i7 8700K 5GHz on 1.376V Safe? Decent?

Hello Guys, here i am again with some more questions, i managed to finally OC my i7 8700K to 5GHz, @ 1.376V

Stress Tests performed by me: CPU-Z Stress Test, Cinebench R23 for 10 minutes (Prime95 just skyrockets to 100C and shuts off instantly even on stock)

Max Temps during CB were 81-85 Degrees Celsius, thats not good but also not bad. I need help to evaluate if these Voltages and Temps are safe.

Specs That Matter here:

i7 8700K (Not Delidded)

MSI Z370M GAMING PRO AC

H100i RGB PRO XT 240mm AIO

RM850 PSU (2019)

BIOS Settings:

CPU Ratio Apply Mode: Turbo Ratio

Set all core limit to 50

Enchaced Turbo a.k.a Multicore Enchancement = On

SpeedStep a.k.a EIST = On (for the time being)

Turbo Boost = On

C-States = Disabled

AVX Offset = -6 (Cuz Frick Prime95)

RAM Overclocked to 3733 for stability

DRAM Voltage 1.35V

RAM Speed: 3733 MHz

CPU VCCSA Voltage 1.150V

CPU VCCIO Voltage: 1.100V

Help Appreciated.

is it safe? Probably for about a year or two before Minor degradation will occur, then it wont be as stable. As long as it does the tasks you ask of it being stable you should be fine, just be cautious of windows updates bricking it.

1.375 isnt as bad, its still a tad higher then what id normally do but as long as it works and is under 85. the 240 may not be able to handle the instant load with prime95, but its not a realisitic workload.

How Should Windows updates brick it? Btw i use Arch Linux, Windows is Benchamrk-only.

Ohhh your a linux user.... named hackintosh 😛 Windows updates like bricking a lot with overclocks, usually its ram OC that causes the most issues with updates upon reboot but ive seen cpu OC's also cause a crash or something during a windows update, thus occasionally bricking the entire OS

Why are you using MCE alongside an allcore OC.??? They are two separate things with their own motherboard algorithms/settings happening behind the scenes.

MCE can play funny buggers to power limits and voltages sometimes depending on boards/bios revisions, I'd re-stabilize without MCE keeping your allcore OC the same, for all you know MCE could be requiring more voltage than the basic allcore OC needs for no reason other than MCE is enabled but pointless against the allcore OC aspect.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

Didnt know, but is 1.376V Safe?

As an idle voltage yeah sure,.. as a load voltage, maybe for a while. (How long who knows...)
Why not just back off to 1.30-1.35v range if you're worried about it?

100Mhz and decent voltage reductions isn't going to affect your performance worth a damn anyway if you are primarily GPU bound anyway.

Yeah true this, I backed my 5ghz 1.31v back to 4.7ghz 1.2v because there weren’t any gains at 1440p gaming for me but my gaming temps are now like 40c lol

I am in switzerland, and i really want something that i can delid easily after when i maybe screw up, so i can relid easily just an "strong enough" glue to put that together.
