It depends, but for 4.2 to get it really dialed in it should only take 20min max. Then stress test for a little while.

Do you think I will notice a difference in surfing the web or gaming? My internet is 55mb so that won't hold me back.

Maybe, but not too much. Do it anyway though, it's free performance :D
