Posted July 19, 2022 Hey everyone, I have a family member that will be starting a remote position soon that requires them to use their own laptop. They have a 2019 MB Pro but her work will require windows. In an effort to avoid buying a new laptop/PC dedicated to work, I thought Bootcamp! She only has the 128gb model and we all know that un-upgradeable. Does anyone have experience with running bootcamp off an external drive? My thoughts would be where she can plug her laptop into a docking station with monitors and peripherals that has an SSD attached too. If that were the case could she run boot camp while connected to the SSD and then run her macOS when not?
