Blackscreen during benchmark but not during Game gtx 1070ti

Hey guys i have a problem,

when i start a a furmark bench it just stops and get a black screen for 1 sec and the sound when i pull something out of a usb port and then the screen turns back on. When i run userbenchmark i get 3-4 fps but when i game like rdr2 or other games it runs perfect. I tried to benchmark with and without OC. What could be the problem?

Furmark is not benchmark but a power virus. It's only purpose is to stress the card so much that it gets really, really hot while using an absurd amount of power. 

 

It's to test the card for worst case scenario, not something you encounter during gaming. 

 

Maybe it is triggering some protections on the cards and it loses display because of that.

Did you overclock your card?

If so,change it back to stock profile and run furmark again.

Edit: I see you ran furmark without overclock,what is your PSU?

Maybe the PSU not provide enough power.
