AM d adrenaline software keeps resetting

So I've had to do this a couple times where I update AMD's adrenaline software through the auto detector and every once in a while it just completely goes back to the earlier version So when I try to play some games or open the adrenaline software it says not compatible with current install graphic drivers and I don't know why it keeps resetting. I have an amd ryzen 7 5700g apu

Probably Windows deciding that your driver needs updated. Instead of doing it through Radeon software, use the Windows Device Manager to "roll back" to the correct version. Windows is supposed to respect this action by not forcing the offending update anymore.

Yep. Windows loves to install some bad drivers over the AMD ones which means sligthly less performance and most of the time it also breaks the control panel (either this or just missing features in the control panel). This should help hide the update, you should run that after running DDU and installing the correct driver.

Also make sure you're not downloading the Radeon control panel from the Microsoft Store. That's only for UWP drivers. If the method above doesn't work you could try the store version, but in most cases it's not going to work.

Okay I'll try that in a little bit
