You can but backups to a USB are going to be SLOW. Used to backup to an ancient Barracuda ES 750 using the built in Windows backup tool and 500gb took all day, that was a 50mbps drive... can't imagine a USB stick lol

Hi,

I created a Windows 10 USB bootable stick as, I need to reinstall Windows.

I was wondering, can I put my backup files on the same USB stick in a BACKUP folder?

Or should I use another USB Stick

My backup of files and program exe's, only needs 3GB of space, for what I need to transfer.

My other stuff is either on another hard drive or on a server/cloud.

When I do a fresh install of Windows I always disconnect the other hard drives (so I don't delete them by mistake - done it before)

Then only re-connect them when everything up and running.
