Anime suggestions?

Exactly my thoughts when I started watching. 

 

reminds me a bit of story of saiunkoku in a way and lol he better have that macro'd

I will second D. Grey man but i seem to recall it not really finishing they story like it just stopped or maybe i just didn't like the ending of it

 

others that i would also recommend are Fullmetal Alchemist original and Brotherhood, fairy tail, soul eater,

that's what I was getting at without outright saying it.

 

I still wouldn't discourage watching it, thought it was disappointing it was still good without a decent ending for how long it is. 

 

I still remember that feeling near then end was of the sort 

"how on earth are they going to wrap this up in the next 3 epis-"

"FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF"

I wouldn't recommend Soul Eater though. OP would like it, but the ending is even more bullshit than D.grey

I started reading the manga online for it after i got to the end of the anime and i think i read that until i ran out of translated manga and ended up reading some fan translated ones even lol still don't know how the thing ends though 

 

edit with d.gray man i think i watched half dub then forced to sub when i ran out of dubs then forced to manga when i hit the end of the anime and forced to fan translations when i couldnt find all the manga lol
