Sound Blaster X3 external USB device - no support for a headset?

The X3 has no headset support (earphones with both Mic and output)?

I see a Mic input and a headphone output, but no combo port

Perhaps there is an adapter than combines both ports into one headset port?

You mean like a normal TRRS to TRS + TRS cable? Here's a generic example:

There are multiple connectors used for literally everything in the audio industry - don't expect manufacturers to always choose the one you happen to use.
