My laptop battery is having issues and I'm not quite sure what the issue is. When i charge my laptop, after i close it for a few hours, it boots, then locks it and the battery indicator flashes red. After that, it wont turn on unless I charge it. When i plug it back into to charge, it shows that I have 0%. On rare occasions, i start it up again while charging, and it shows 100%. I have an asus zephyrus g15. I have attached a screenshot to show this issue.

That looks like a BMS issue, I had a problem similar to that two laptops ago where it would charge, "die" at a random percentage (almost always a prime number?) And then be fine once plugged in again. Also had that on previous phone where if it was below 40F (5C) the battery would simply just instantly drain to "0%" and wouldn't turn back on unless plugged in and it would be at like 41%, 73%, etc.

Is there an easy fix? or do I just need to bring my charger everywhere I go?

I ended up replacing the battery in the laptop, the BMS charge detection chip had fried apparently so new battery solved the problem. The phone: I just tried to keep it out of the cold when I could.
