My friend is worried , which PSU should he go with?

My friend has a RTX 2060
An i5 11400
H510M
16 gb of ram
and 2 tb hard drives (2x1)
And a 240GB SSD
He has 3 choices of psu's
Cooler master elite 700P 700W
Cougar VTE X2 600W
Cooler master MWE V2 230V 750C Bronze.

I told him the cooler master was a good choice (if not perfect) And that it will live up well with his build. But he wants the public's word for some reason. what do you guys think?

The master elite is a solid option, so is the MWE (although it doesn't have modular cables). Those are not the best by any means but good enough for sure. One thing I would consider is upgrabality, if he ever wants to get a more powerful GPU like a 3080 then 700W won't be enough, 850W would be a better choice, if not then it doesn't really matter.

To be fair we could've gone for better ones but prices in Egypt are crazy high at the moment. What do we do ?

I edited my comment already, but honestly I don't think any of them are better than the other. It mostly depends on price and whether or not he wants modular cables

Well he posted on reddit and he saw people say "The MWE is a good choice for that rig since its a higher tier" i don't know what that means tbh-

If you have absolutely no clue what you're talking about, please have the decency to just not spew misleading BS.

Are those 3 the only ones they can get, or are there other ones available too? A decent 400-500W PSU is already plenty of wattage, and could allow them to get a better PSU instead of wattage that they don't need

:)

Actually there are more PSU's we can get but we are talking about like..a 60$ difference and that's already around 1100 Egyptian pounds. and it's kinda extremely expensive.

Are you only looking at 650 watts and up?

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

To be fair the 550W and below that are all like..idk they seem way too suspicious to me
They are either CM Elite
or the cougar i mentioned
or one called deep cool and antec they are insanely cheap too which was suspicious to him

Deepcool is a pretty well known brand, antec is a really old PSU brand and they certainly are not sketchy.

Have you looked at the PSU tier list:

Tier B and up is a good place to look, but this PC wouldn't really struggle with a tier C power supply.

To be fair he got too tired and went on with the MWE bronze v2 since it was on a higher tier (we checked the list 20 minutes after you replied) So thank you ! Deep cool the one we found tho was on a tier D..so he avoided it.
