Yes, the RMx is good.

I'm still on the fence about whether to go AIO or Air Cooling gang for this build. I've been on laptops for more than a decade and it's my first PC build so I do like them aethetics of a fancy LCD on the cpu. That said though, the price to performance of a D15 chromax black does get me thinking maybe that's the better way to go. Processory is a 5900x so does a 360 rad have a considerable edge over the D15?

Also any general tuning up of the build would be really appreciated. ( Already got the case and R9 5900x )

Adding to this, the D15 chromax will work fine, but if you want an actual measurable performance improvement over that, then get either the ARCTIC Liquid Freezer II 280 or 360. They perform about the same, so pick which one you like more. They will give you about 5c cooler cpu, so it could boost a bit higher, but that is it.

The arctic coolers should have a msrp of about 100$, so they atleast are close to the price of the D15, meanwhile the nzxt you chose makes no sense in any universe. You could get a 3080ti for that price difference.

I only see your reply if you @ me.

Thanks! Yeah so the AIO was the least viable addition in that list tbh, I put that one on there only cuz ''oooh fancy LCD''.

D15 makes sense then to save a buck rather than the ARCTIC. I'll go for the Aircooling gang!  Any comments on the rest of the build?

About this though, Does the price difference really warrant the performance gain? I'm a bit on the fence of whether to reduce the overall cost and keep the 12gb 3080 or put the extra dime in to get a Ti. It's new PC so I don't plan to upgrade anytime soon after it's built now. ( Can't wait for 4000s either, Need a PC now. )

Get the best thing you can afford. You are planning to buy a higher-end 3080, which makes the price difference to the 3080 Ti smaller. The XC3 would be a good option. IMO, though, the price difference between the 3070 Ti and the 3080 is more worth it than the one between the 3080 and 3080 Ti.

Other than that.

You are spending too much for 3600 CL18. It's not even the cheapest Corsair RGB Pro branded 3600 CL18.

Still, paying ~$30 for RGB feels bad to me.

Anyway, long story short, I might do something more like this:

Thanks @Hairless Monkey Boy!

With the D15 the RAM rgb doesn't make sense. Do you have a better RAM kit suggestion? I've read 3600 is about the right hz for ryzen. And something about Single vs Dual rank which I'm not sure how to check on product listings. So long as the kit fits under the D15 I'm open to any tbh..

Also the 850 PSU shoudl handle 3080ti + 5900x fine yeah?
