Out of curiosity, was undervolting not an option?

Impressive engineering feat regardless. Definite upgrade over the already good Bunta PC, which uses an external radiator..

This was amazing, and editor amazing job.  Appreciated little things, especially the TODO list, makes it easy to follow longer videos like this.

Long time lurker, first time registrar/poster. Replying to Linus' "show me something greater" comment. How about an air-cooled i9 10900 + 3090 AND a Blueray drive (because I also use it for work) in almost the same space? Hot Wheels case is definitely more awesome, mine may not be "greater" and wish I had the time to water-cool it, but temps aren't too crazy and is also pretty stealthy. Not sure why the CPU temp spikes to 90~, but under constant load stays in the high 60's, touches low 70's sometimes.

- Core i9 10900

- Dell RTX 3090

- 32gb Corsair Vengeance

- Noctua L9x65

- Cooler Master 850w SFX

- Silverstone SG05 (10.8 liters)
