  1. Though in all, would you say the DT 770 Pro was a good upgrade over my Cloud 2? Unfortunately with everyone freaking out over covid, it's not like I can go into a music store to try them out.
  2. Well most reviews says they're the best I can get in my price range. I just wanted something better than my Cloud 2. I did end up ordering them, but they won't be in stock till the 14th. As for T5p.2, I don't have $1400-$2000 https://www.amazon.ca/beyerdynamic-719005-Generation-Audiophile-Headphone/dp/B01BCD3DRA
  3. Well then since I can get the 770 Pros for $215, is there a better set I could get using the extra $100, or just save it? As a reference, I'm currently using the HyperX Cloud 2 headset.
  4. Just wondering if this headphone + DAC combo is a good fit, or if someone has a better has a better option for me. https://www.amazon.ca/FiiO-Olympus-Headphone-Amplifier-Black/dp/B00LP3AMC2/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=objective+2&qid=1617662724&s=musical-instruments&sr=1-1 https://www.amazon.ca/beyerdynamic-DT-770-32-Ohm/dp/B0778C9HQ4/ref=sr_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=Beyerdynamic%2BDT%2B770%2BPro%2B80%2Bohm&qid=1617653927&s=electronics&sr=1-4&th=1 The pricing comes up to $315 CAD, which is about what I want to pay. I'd t
  5. Did Amazon dis these headphones or give an accurate review???
  6. Need to be able to find a 3070..hell ANY decent graphics card right now.
  7. Opps. forgot about those, assume they are the 500GB SSD.
  8. Ok heres the builds I've put together with some help, I'll give her options and she can choose: 1) https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/2yn7qp Micro-ATX, cheapest, does what she needs + a bit more 2) https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/wrk6F8 ITX, slightly more expensive, does what she needs + a bit more, just an ITX if she wants a small computer 3) https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/HN6Rbh Micro-ATX, more expensive, but slightly better specs, not needed, but if you wanna spend a bit more. 4) https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/HGn7qp ITX
  9. Bad experiences with them in the past. I actually built her last one myself, about 5+ years ago, it's still on Windows 7. That one I built was basically build using the cheapest parts available. I've told her they aren't as bad as they used to be, but like I said, stubborn. When I said "I'd like to not spend as much" that was me speaking, not her.
  10. I actually just called her to get clarification. 1) she doesn't want a laptop 2) She doesn't want a pre-made like Dell or HP 3) I told her pretty much anything I do is overkill, but she doesn't want someone that "just meets her needs", she wants something better, so that if she chooses to do more, it will still be good. She also wants something that will still be good for a number of years. She wants me to decide pretty much everything else. She's never been the kind of person who isn't willing to spend a bit more if it gets her something of good quality.
  11. Also used that to alter the ITX version, what do you think? 12. Maybe, but the cost of the i5 + cooler actually costs more. than the 2200G, if I can get more power for less money, why not?
  13. Budget (including currency): $2000 Country: Canada Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Light usage, email, youtube, office work I am putting together a computer for my mom, she says her budget is $2000, but...ya she doesn't need anything like that. I will spend that much if she REALLY wants to, but I'd rather save her money if I can help it. She just uses it for word, excel, emails, etc. She's almost 70, she won't be playing AAA games or anything! I've come up with two computers so far, the first one is a M-ATX build: PCPartPicker Par
  14. I ended up going with the Samsung S20 FE 5G. Turns out the normal S20 is on clearance and they're out, and they aren't $0, and the S20 that is $0 is a pre-owned phone. Thanks for all the help guys!
