I have a B350 motherboard I just upgraded my cpu from a r5 2400g to r5 3400g and I have power but no display

Divit37

I have tried everything from resetting cmos to using a eraser to clean the ram and placing it to another slot also tried removing my mouse and starting

Note everything was working before the upgrade and I might have dropped my screw driver on the motherboard it didn't cause any damage and the impact was not too severe but it was all metal and I did turned of the switch before attempting the cpu switch

BIOS updates do not happen automatically.

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

Likely needs a bios update as F22 is pre 3400G.

Scroll down to your current BIOS and pay attention to the bold red letters, they will tell you which BIOS is needed before any others.
