Weird discoloration on some parts of the screen

Guest
Go to solution Solved by bmx6454,

this is pretty common on the cracked screens i've seen. nothing to do but replace the screen, usually gets worse over time as well in my experience.

Hello,

I broke my phone's screen a few days ago and since then there is a weird discoloration on a part of the screen It is very visible (especially on white background). It's like there's permanent pressure on the screen even when there is none applied. Is there any way I can fix this or is the damage permanent? The touch still works on that area and I can also see text fine on that area.

Which phone? Is the display bonded to the digitizer glass?

That might be pressure, light refracting through the glass, or contaminants getting into the crack. I'd assume it's going to get worse until you replace the glass.

I sold my soul for ProSupport.
