Monitors and Display Issues

Kelvin_r

I'm having issues with getting my monitors to display using display ports. I have swapped multiple monitors as well as a tv to attempt to get a signal but it isn't working. I have used display ports as well as hdmi ports going to both the graphics card and the motherboard. I have checked the on board settings for the monitors as well. Does this seem like just a settings issue or might this be something else? The part that I am confused about is that the motherboard also isnt sending a signal?

 Help?

Do the cables work? What're you plugging stuff into? What graphics card? What motherboard?

Do you have integrated graphics? If it's sending signal through the GPU then the motherboard won't output.

You should restart between swapping the cables if you're having problems?

Are you sure your system is booting and not also crashing?

You have an F series CPU? then the motherboard would never output video anyway.
