Icue can’t control case fans

tmt88

I have a Corsair h115i capellix aio (2 ML fans) and 4 case fans (LL fans). I connect all the fans to the commander core that comes with the aio. However I can only use icue to control the speed of the 2 aio fans but not the case fans. Nothing happens when I select different curves for the case fans. They spin at the same rpm. I have no other fan control software on my pc. Any help is appreciated.

iCUE cannot control fans plugged into your motherboard. Assuming Corsairs hardware will accept standard PWM fans, you need to plug the rest of your fans into that if you want to control them all in one place.

LL fans do not support zero rpm, which may be part of your problem. Only the SP series, and possibly the ML series. Also, certain Corsair devices are 3 pin, others are 4-pin, and sometimes will not detect properly without the wizard. In addition, Hydro X devices are controlled differently through a special port.

You cant mix and match fans on a commander pro, you need separate commanders for each series of fans or change to all the same series

It is plugged in. Windows detects the commander core. I tried plugging it in different headers but it doesn’t show up in icue.

ok so you have this thing right? you plugged in the fans, usb port to the internal usb header on the mb, pluged in the sata cable from the psu.

if it wont show up in the software that's the first problem.
