I have experience with fractal cases. That one is amazing.

I have narrowed down my choices between the Meshify 2 and Phanteks P600S - I can't decide.  😕

p600s can use 420mm rad up front, meshify 2/s2 nope (2 xl can)

p600s has a taller profile, meshify 2/s2 is longer instead

meshify 2/s2 can have additional fans & smol rad on its bottom IF not using hdd bays

meshify 2 can switch to storage mode AKA alot of 3.5" hdd

I can only speak to the fractical case but as long as your components all fit (should have no problem) its a great case. Ive built in that one as far as a few other fractals and have no complaints to speak of, its well built, great airflow and built with function in mind

Doesn't the S2 have the case/IO all connected so the front panel doesn't easily get removed?   I didn't like that design of the S2 - unless there is a revision?

Both cases, P600S and Meshify 2 - have 'storage' 'add-ons' as I call it.   I'm not interested in adding HDDs - although, it's possible I might want to add one or two - but, I doubt it.   There would be no plan to.   I do want additional storage in the future, however - but, I would plan M.2 and 2.5 SSDs - and motherboards usually have options for 3 M.2 ssds and 4-6 SATA ports - I believe both cases have at least 2 or 3 mounts for 2.5 SSDs?   I know the P600S and P500A have 3 2.5 mounts on the back (or middle) panel of the case - which I like.  

 

I am not sure but it was my impression that using the 'storage options' of either case can block airflow or interfere with long graphics cards?   Regardless, I wouldn't be buying either case for a server.   It's for my build and at most, 2 M.2 drives and 3 2.5" SATA SSDs.  I have a couple HDDs I can use for additional storage but I'd probably use them in enclosures.

 

With all that said, I am leaning towards the P600S but the price for it here is really expensive.   Unfortunately, only Amazon has it (edit:  only the gray version) without adding additional fees and import charges - but, the price recently increased.   The Meshify 2 is around the same price now because of that.
