Sandisk Extreme Pro 1TB vs WD SN750 1TB, which one to get?

I would get the sandisk.

You won't notice the speed difference anyways, because your usecase doesn't benefit from it,  but you will notice the difference on your wallet.

And when I say you won't notice the speed difference, I mean it. Even if you would go for the Samsung, you wouldn't even get Windows to boot 1 sec faster, let alone games.

So just get the Sandisk and enjoy it.

Are these SSDs the same? I guess they have the same controller by WD, and they reside in the same place in SSD tier list. Sandisk is the cheapest sdd with dram cache, costs 95 USD in my country. SN750 costs 135 USD. I also checked 970 EVO plus, I guess it is a better choice among these two ssds, but it costs 150USD. I am a normal user, just want to install an OS on it and maybe some games. I own SN750 500GB, but I need extra storage. I also own PCIE 4.0 motherboard, with one 4.0 and one 3.0 slot for NVMe storage.

CPU: Ryzen 5 5600X - GPU: EVGA RTX 3070 XC3 ULTRA - Motherboard: ASUS ROG STRIX B550-I - Ram: Corsair Vengance LPX 16GB @3200Mhz - CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-L12S - PSU: Corsair SF600 Platinum - SSDs: WD Black SN750 500GB w/ EKWB Heatsink - Case: FormD T1

Laptop: 2020 M1 Macbook Air 8/256

For additional really you don't need to overthink it. SN750 is a great ssd, you can pai it with any ssd, even sata, and your pc will still perform the same.

So i gueess get the cheapest one, with a good warranty ofcourse.
