GPU for first pc

hey everyone,

 

I am planning to build my first pc but I can't decide which graphics card I should choose,a GTX 770, a R9 280x or a GTX 780?

I am going to be gaming on a 1440p monitor.

The GTX 770 and R9 280x would fit better in my budget but I can pick up a GTX 780 if it is worth it.

If I go with an GTX 770 would I need 4gb of vram to sli in the future?

 

I would appreciate your help.

Asus, evga acx or gigabyte?

The brand doesn't make much of a difference.

Get a 290 or 780.

What is cheaper where you live? The 770 is equivalent to the 280X and the 780 is to a 290. The prices of R9 cards have gone done quite a bit, just get the cheapest or best looking card out of the 770 and 280X and the 780 and 290.
