Not being able to conncect to true nas

I wanted to experiment whit installing true nas in Vmware and I am not able to conncect to it except on the pc were I'm running true nas

The error says it didn't manage to establish a connection (also doesn't work on another windows machine)

Are your running your physical network in the same subnet? Sounds like you have a private network between your VM and your PC and the VM is not exposed to your actual home network.

I assume your network (your PC’s IP) is likely a 192.168.1.X? Looks like VMware is set up as NAT, and thus your VM is getting a 192.168.31.X. 
 

If that’s true, you won’t be able to get to that devices from other machines because they don’t “know where to look” or how to get to it. VMware would need to be set to a different networking mode, such as bridge mode (I assume they call it that, it’s been a while since I used VMware) which would give your VM a 192.168.1.X address.

@TheCatItalyDudeThis is the technical explanation for my explanation. It’s almost certainly a subnet issue.

Yep, you need to set up the network interface in the VM settings to bridged mode.
