Seriously? You're giving us the series only? Since this will be integrated in such a small form factor I highly doubt it will be a 7950 it will likely be something worthless like a 7770. I mean if priced right yeah I can see the use as a streaming device and able to play lots of smaller indie games but also, no pricing.

This may be possible in the yr 2020 but there is no way an apu could run tiple 1080p monitors on AAA games it's just not possible yet.

So yes, a PC running a full screen mode menu, where you can play your games using a controller, or keyboard and mouse

 

It didn't use disk, much likes Steam box. You got the games from its own download service which rumor at teh time said to be cheaper than retail store disks, because it didn't have the price of the box and manual and all that, much like Steam.

 

The console and service didn't happen, due to financial issues.

The company made keyboards, and today's continue to make them... well they only make 1 now... which is believed to be the keyboard and mouse system that was supposed to be for the console that never came to be.

 

You basically have it on your lap, and the angle of the keyboard is adjustable and locks in at every position to not drop in your other hand where you use the mouse. You could use you own wireless mouse if you wanted, as the console had USB ports. This was just a basic controller that was expected to be come with the console.

 

A highly hyped console, that never came to be... beside the keyboard

Although, Valve seams to have taken... inspiration... of the entire ecosystem that the keyboard manufacture tried to do.

 

I think the problem that the company had, was that publishers didn't understand the power of digital distribution, mix with the bad business move, and no demo of the project. Like if we look at Steam, it took a while, and they had to show multiple AAA games to bring interest, and demo everything from patches to updates before it started to get SOME publishers on board.

At least if it was an i3 you could host a Minecraft server on it. This is just a very expensive throwing weapon.

 

Part of the blame lies with Intel, who in their great idiocy put good GPU with good CPU, instead of how it should be: good GPU with bad CPU and NO GPU on good CPUs!

 

Intel HD graphics are worthless on high end chips, and the one place where they could be useful (i3) they nerf it to shit.

The idea that somebody would release a product with 'upgradeable hardware' that's already out of date on launch is ridiculous IMO.
