Maybe a more suitable topic title would be "i dont enjoy dull online shooters anymore?"

 

Really feels like an extremely narrow and dare i say hollow definition of "gaming" without wanting to be offensive,  i kinda find that offensive tbh.

nah, it depends,  both can be fun... fun multiplayer maybe is rare, but it exists.

 

there's also "asymmetric" multiplayer which can be a lot of fun if done right. 

 

to me it's kinda important to keep a healthy balance here since mostly "story driven" games can get boring too, especially when they have unskippable cutscenes (i usually don't play those games anyway, and usually the dev/pub goes on my "fool me once..." list immediately)

 

^ i know that seems random but its actually a huge downside of some single player games specifically,  thankfully its rather rare.
