780Ti Upgrade vs Larger Case

Go to solution Solved by TheNinjaNextDor,

780Ti is what I was thinking.

Meh, get a 780 and a bigger case. A 780ti is a waste of money.

Solved. That's exactly what I did. The FPS differences were not great for the massive price hike.

Yeah, $200 is not worth 10-15 fps lol

Happy I could help.

Hey, everyone.

I'd like to jump straight in with the following question;

Should I spend more money on a 350D upgrade or spend the money I'd spend on a case upgrade on a GTX 780Ti?

Thanks in advance for your replies.

Case has no impact on performance.  Get a 780Ti if you are picking between the two.  Ti is bad value though.  You are paying $200 more for a 10-15% increase in performance.

My GTX 780 runs at 64C under load in my crappy $40 case.

My i5-4670k OC'd to 4.7Ghz on 1.275v is in the 50s, 60s, or 70s Celsius depending on the game being played, never exceeding 77C all while in a crappy $40 case.
