Norton freezing my computer

I have been having some trouble with norton recently whenever i install it freshly in a rebooted system my computer seems to hang on its own after random interval on booting and none of the inputs or any commands works and then i have to switch the power supply on and off for it to work when even if I uninstall norton it then also the problem persists the only way to completely solve it is by reinstalling windows in my system could you please make a video or provide other insights about this problem

Uninstalling it is out of the question? Wasn't Norton the one AV that mine a crypto? Also system specs?

Just don't install it. It's garbage. Windows Defender is much more effective, efficient and (this one's a shocker) honest than Norton's crap.

Norton is kinda "known" for (1) being a huge resource hog, (2) not being very effective. 😊 Even if a brand new computer comes with a free year of Norton, I uninstall it. Avast is free and pretty good. Windows Defender has improved greatly over the past 2-3 years... and definitely more effective than Norton. If you want to pay for a product, BitDefender or Webroot are great. Personally I use Webroot and haven't removed a virus in 8 years.
