Problem with the Bose QC35 II's in bluetooth.

When I am trying to use my QC 35 II's in bluetooth, the transparency mode turns on, making them unusable wireless. When they are wired, there is no problem. The surrounding audio only goes through when audio starts to play and then it turns off when I pause the audio.
