nightmare!!! need help

bought a 3090 ftw3, was so happy to finally get it and then I started mining

 

 I kid you not when I saw that it was only getting 50mhs mining on nicehash I felt like screaming!

 

that’s not it tho. it’s wasting 400 watts!!! my 6600xt does 33mhs at 50watts!

 

words can’t describe how disappointed I am!

 

 can anyone help me?

Are both of them mining using the same algorithm? You can't compare hash rates between different coins. You might want to look into undervolting your GPU and other optimizations for mining.

so ummm its very strange but my 3090 is mining on kawpow and not on hishomito like my 3090. 

 

how can I only nine on hashimoto? 

 

i’ve been only using nicehash but will switch to anything else due to this annoying issue

You can select what algos to enable in the settings. It should run the benchmark and select the best one, but maybe something went wrong and the DH benchmark crashed for some reason and resulted in that algo being ignored.

the 3090 doesn’t have nbminer it has excivator? how do I reset everything? think there was an issue because prior to this I was using the user benchmarks to see what score I get

 

I literally made it to the top 10 or so except it don’t let me go over 150 core speed despite adding voltage but I can go over 1500 memory 

 

had quite a lot of fun with this gpu so far
