Make it reach Linus

Hi, i'm a 19 years old brazilian, and this is a tentative get help from my favorite youtuber!

I'm a computer enginearing student, as well as a system analysis and development student, I come from a really poor family and I can't work because of my two graduations, they both are public colleges though, so I don't pay for them.

The real reason I came here to ask for help, is that I need a computer to study, mine is a very old one, rocking a core 2 quad q9500, 4gb of ddr2 ram and a rx 550, this pc is giving me problems, as I can't trust it to do importante work, cause it quite often crashes and I lose what i'm working with, as you can imagine, system develpoment is something that may need a lot of pc resources, unfortunatelly, I don't have any money to upgrade, especialy living in brazil, where the taxes are really high, I also love the idea of modeling and game making, but my pc has never alowed me to tinker with those kinds of things, I've never had a current time pc or console for that matter, I love gaming, but I can't do it, since my pc doesn't let me play, even cs:go, that is my favorite game, runs with strugles and always crashes.

Linus is my favorite youtuber, I've watched pretty much all of the videos that were released since I first discovered the channel, and I have a dream of some day working in the linus media group, be it as an engineer, a reviewer or anything, i just want to be part of that talented family!

I hope I can with the help of you guys, make it reach linus, and even if I can't get the help, I just want to say that, most of the knowledge in computing and hardware I have now, came from all the ltt videos I watched, and all I have to say, is THANK YOU!!!

I too was born in a poor country. My situation has somewhat improved over time. I truly wish I could send you a computer or something like that, because I know the pain - I have been there 15 years ago. Sadly in my life I am not in a situation to do that.

Begging for a pc on your first post is frowned on. At least have the decency to get that post count higher 😉

Start saving. Moving to Canada and getting work visa is much more expensive than getting good PC.
