Review for D50 Game Dock.... + Steam deck?

I have not seen any discussions about the Western Digital D50 Game Dock with none-to-2TB of NVMe storage. Worth the price tag? Is it awesome? Was wondering if a dock like this would be a good pair with my laptop and/or steam deck.

Not really? If you have thunderbolt on your laptop sure, but on Steam Deck its going to be USB only afaik.

Looks like glorified Dock/external SSD. Docks alone cost about €120 for good one, External drives are about same for that capacity and SSD /w TB. So overpriced and selling with "gaming" in the name. Take €150 off the price and its starting to sound good.
