Neither. Both are kinda crap. Why?

The legion is using a hard drive. That is beyond way to slow for anything.

The ideapad has crap cooling so it will perform pretty darn poorly.

If you can find the legion with a ssd then it's good. They also have the ryzen 5000 series which is normally cheaper or a last gen ryzen + 2060 version.

Okay, if I had asked you which one would you recommend between the two?

i would take the legion even if it had a HDD, just because i tried the ideapad gaming and as @jaslion mentioned the cooling is very bad.

If you really had to the legion and then immediately get an ssd to upgrade it because the hdd will make it terrible for gaming and just basic use.

So I would advice you to look at the one step up as the price for an ssd upgrade is usually within reach of the next step up of the laptop.

Nothing wrong with that.

Jaslion was just saying the legion is a bad call since it had a HDD, but the spec you quoted also has an SSD. I'd assume the SSD is the boot drive and the HDD is just for mass storage. If that's the case, there's nothing wrong with the Legion spec

If it does have an ssd then it is fine BUT there might be a small difference between that model and the official spec (regional variants are a thing) so triplecheck that op.

So i have bought Legion version but there the ram sticks advertised as 3200mhz are locked to 2667 mhz.  Can i change this? In bios is no xmp profile setting and this is an intel cpu.
