PC won't output video, help please.

Yea123

Hi, I recently built an old PC for emulation, but when i turned it on, I saw nothing on my monitor, just a window saying "No Video Signal". Im connecting it through VGA.

I have a Gigabyte GA-945GCMX-s2 motherboard with Intel Core 2 Duo E7400 2.80GHZ and 8GB of RAM, no Graphics Card.

The PC boots up fine and the fan is spinning but I cant even get to BIOS, I don't know what's the problem. I tried almost everything, please help.

Um....I don't think that CPU has on board graphics? i.e. separate graphics card needed.

The motherboard does. Graphics on the motherboard was a thing back then.

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

Wowzers.

In that case, has OP tried different VGA cable/monitor? Or other outputs it may have.

Yes I've tried different monitor and cable, but I dont have the cable for other outputs, Im gonna try. Im going to try to replace the CPU with a different new one, maybe the old one Is damaged because it hasn't been used for a long time.

Hmm yeah I'd try the cable firstas it's not uncommon for certain outputs to be faulty. If it's booting and fans spinning I would have thought it makes it more likely to be the Mobo than CPU, if it's the mobo providing the graphics.
