Noctua D14 or 212 Evo v2

Supreme Calamitas

Alright I found this guy on FB marketplace selling a Noctua D14 (double fan) for 75usd including shipping, paste, Am4 kit. It's a good deal. I have a ryzen 5 5600g which isn't a hot CPU. I would overclock it if my motherboard had more VRM headsinks so I'm not going to OC it. On the other side I can get a new Hyper 212 evo v2 for 50 USD.

The Noctua seems like a great deal but then again I have a hunch my CPU doesn't really need such a powerful cooler

If I save that 25 USD difference, it will go towards a better GPU.

P.s the guy is actually selling the cooler for 60 usd but I will have to buy the AM4 kit for an extra 15usd

5600G doesn't need more than a Hyper 212, even overclocking it's more than enough.

The best gaming PC is the PC you like to game on, how you like to game on it

At that budget the Scythe FUMA 2 will be much better,

Not only it performs better than both coolers,it supports AM4 out of the box, offers great compatibility with other components and is cheaper than that used NH-D14
