help needed for win 11 laptop

so I have a new legion 5 pro (16ACH6H) with rtx 3070 and 32 gigs ram and windows 11. but since a few months back its been shutting off whenever i have closed the lid. i have tried changing some settings but nothing changes please clarify what to do. if i have to update any drivers or bios plz tell me how to do it.

Have you checked the BIOS? Sometimes the BIOS settings will overrule Windows

Read the manual. Typically it's F2 key pressed when powering on the laptop, but your manual will say for certain.

When powering on the unit you may need to press F1 or F2 while holding down the fn key, as per lenovo site.

Check for sleep/power settings. See what they are set for, if possible reset everything to defaults to see if that corrects the issue.
